Advisory Committee Endorses $21 Million Public Safety Building

Cohasset Advisory Committee recommends $21 million public safety building to the 2026 Annual Town Meeting. The committee voted 8-0-1, with Courtney Murphy abstaining, to recommend Article 21. The $28.6 million facility includes a garage annex for the Fire Department's reserve engine and equipment storage.
Chair Jeanne Astino led the committee in unanimously recommending eight additional warrant articles, including Community Preservation funding for Bancroft tennis courts and Beechwood playground improvements and a stormwater management bylaw procedural change.
