Cohasset Advisory Committee reviews town meeting motions ahead of May 6 ATM. The committee reviewed final versions of three articles, including a $21.783 million appropriation request for the Public Safety Building (project estimate $26.783 million, with $5 million in previously unspent funds covering the difference) and amendments to the Noise Control Bylaw restricting gasoline-powered leaf blowers and line trimmers to May 15 through September 15. The committee formally approved the Water Enterprise Fund budget at $5,959,488 following a $110,000 adjustment.
Chair Jeanne Astino congratulated Interim Town Manager Michelle Leary on her official appointment as Town Manager.
