COHASSET — The Cohasset Select Board held a public forum on harbor governance where speakers disputed Town Counsel KP Law's assessment that the June 2025 intermunicipal agreement with Scituate poses no legal liability. Brian Host, a harbor history expert, and Bill McGowan, Chair of the Cohasset Sewer Board, challenged the counsel opinion, citing concerns about the Conditional Area Management Plan and compliance costs. The Board voted unanimously to reappoint Paul L.
Grady, Jr. to the Sidewalk Safety and Connectivity Committee for one year and to approve the Halloween Stroll for October 25, moving it from 2-4 PM to 1-3 PM.
