Board of Assessors approves two abatement decisions in executive session

COHASSET — The Board of Assessors unanimously approved one abatement application and denied another during executive session. Chair Patrick Kennedy, Clerk Debra Krupczak, and Member Lorraine Tarpey voted on Abatement Application 10 for approval and Application 15 for denial, while also unanimously denying one exemption and deferral application under Clause 22D. Director of Assessing Rachael Carlisle reported the office is conducting interviews for an assistant position and working on permit inspections, with no growth calculations yet completed.
