Board of Assessors reviews abatement applications at monthly meeting

COHASSET — Board of Assessors approves fiscal year 2027 abatement applications in routine January session. Chairperson Joseph P. Kennedy, Clerk Debra J.
Krupczak, and Member Lorraine Tarpey met to review routine documents and property assessment applications. Director of Assessing Rachael Carlisle reported that a second home study mailer was sent to all out-of-town mailing addresses and that eight abatement applications are currently pending. Five fiscal year 2027 abatement applications received approval during the executive session.
