Cohasset Capital Budget Committee approves over $1M in capital projects. Chair Susan Franklin led the committee, including members Chris Peisch, Cathy Forest, Chrissie Francona, and Robert Kasameyer, in approving approximately $1.024 million in FY27 capital improvements. Major allocations included $139,000 for police vehicle replacement, $127,689 for school technology panels, $339,835 for a street sweeper to be bonded with annual payments not exceeding $56,000, and $151,330 for school bus fleet leasing.
Member Chrissie Francona dissented or abstained on four items including school laptops and an outdoor library book drop. The committee deferred approval of meeting minutes to the next session.
