COHASSET — Capital Budget Committee unanimously approves $25,000 tractor purchase for Department of Public Works. Cathy Forest moved to approve the 2016 Ottawa Kalmar Yard tractor, voted 6-0 and to be funded through RTF Fire insurance claims to replace equipment that failed at the RTF. The committee also reviewed FY 27 capital requests including library doors for a new pavilion, a $1.2 million Water Main replacement borrowing on 3A, and ongoing benchmarking research on police station construction costs as part of a potential new Public Safety building project.
