Cohasset solar subcommittee charts spring procurement timeline for school arrays. Tanya Bodell outlined the subcommittee's plan to solicit proposals for solar installations at Osgood and Deerhill schools, considering both rooftops and carports. Julia Gillis, Assistant Town Planner and Alternative Energy Committee liaison, will coordinate with the town's procurement officer to revise the RFP and submit legal documentation to Town Counsel.
The subcommittee set a timeline to release the RFP by March 1, solicit responses through April, recommend next steps by early May, and execute the contract by June for summer installation.
