Cohasset solar committee advances procurement process for school energy array project. Chair Tanya Bodell reported that one bidder attended a site visit the previous Tuesday to inspect facilities at Deerhill and Osgood schools. Town Planner Cassandra Thayer will represent the town, with the chair reaching out to the Advisory and School committees for additional evaluation-committee members.
If Chapter 30B procurement yields insufficient competitive bids, the town may pursue solar procurement through municipal aggregation under the Restructuring Act.
