Conservation Commission approves permits for Pond Street homes

Conservation Commission · Meeting of February 5, 2026

Cohasset Conservation Commission approves Pond Street permits. The Commission voted 4-0-0 to issue Orders of Conditions and Stormwater Permits for two single-family homes at 40 and 46 Pond Street adjacent to a 100-foot Buffer Zone of Bordering Vegetated Wetlands. Key conditions prohibit bituminous pavement and require pervious materials within the Buffer.

Applicant Curtis Webb and representatives from Weathervane Builders presented multiple site design alternatives before the Commission approved the applications. Chair Chris McIntyre emphasized the Commission's preference for minimizing impervious surfaces. The Commission also unanimously issued a Certificate of Completion for a 1991 dock project at 30 Black Horse Lane.
