Cohasset Select Board elects David Farrag as Chair in May leadership reorganization. The Select Board unanimously elected Farrag to replace Ellen Maher, who becomes Vice Chair, with William Ashton elected Clerk. The Board unanimously appointed Maher to negotiate Town Manager Michelle Leary's contract.
Town Accountant Bethany Mosley reported general fund revenues tracking at 86 percent of expectations through April, with a $331,000 snow and ice removal deficit to be addressed next year. The Board discussed next steps for the failed public safety facility proposal and reviewed designs for the ongoing Town Hall renovation at 41 Highland Avenue.
