Historic district initiative heads to March Town Meeting

Cohasset Historical Commission plans downtown historic district Town Meeting vote. Information sessions on the initiative showed business support, with a February 26 session drawing light but positive response and a May 7 public session scheduled at Willcutt Commons before the March 30 vote. The Commission also heard proposals to salvage demolished building materials in a community space and to place a memorial marker on the Common for the 1849 Brig St.
John tragedy.
