Library trustees approve February bills, plan April closure for software rollout

COHASSET — Paul Pratt Memorial Library trustees unanimously approve February bills and plan April closure. Director Bronwyn Nelson reported that the new web-based library software platform will be installed the last week of April, requiring the library to close on April 27 for deep cleaning, facilities work, and staff training including de-escalation training led by Cohasset Officer Gregory Lennon. The library will reopen in limited capacity April 28 and 29.
Nelson also announced the hiring of Taylor Godfrey for Adult Services, who is pursuing her Master's degree in Library Science and will oversee programming, collection development, and patron tech support.
