Library Trustees approve new hours, authorize pavilion payments
Paul Pratt Memorial Library Trustees · Meeting of January 14, 2026
COHASSET — Paul Pratt Memorial Library Trustees approve new schedule effective February 2. Director Bronwyn Nelson reported the shift includes earlier Thursday-Saturday closings at 5:00 p.m. and extended Monday-Wednesday hours through 7:30 p.m., with notification via social media and The Cohasset Anchor. The Trustees unanimously approved December bills and authorized approximately $195,000 in pavilion construction payments using Community Preservation Committee grants.
Responding to a town-wide 5% budget reduction request, the library reduced Educational Reimbursement from $5,000 to $2,500 and trimmed Materials funding for the year, relying on Endowment support. Taylor Godfrey begins as Adult Services staff on January 26.
