Planning Board continues South Main Street driveway hearings to May 6
Planning Board · Meeting of April 15, 2026
COHASSET — Planning Board postpones South Main Street common driveway decision to May 6. The board heard from applicant Stephen Bjorklund and engineer Greg Morse on a proposal to service three homes via a shifted entrance, new 91-foot stone wall, and invasive tree removal. Neighbor Dana Eagles raised concerns about headlight glare and architectural compatibility; Bjorklund committed to evergreen screening and tree warden consultation.
With Member Amy Glasmeier absent, Vice Chair Clark Brewer noted unanimous approval would be required for any special permit. The board also reviewed proposed zoning bylaw housekeeping amendments and rejected expanding the Building Inspector's discretionary authority to define structures not explicitly listed in bylaws.
