Recreation Commission approves summer program rates; transfers field fund to Town Manager.

Cohasset Recreation Commission approves 2026 summer program rates and revolving account restructuring. Chair Tim Burnieika presided over five members voting unanimously to set full-day summer playground rates at $589 per session and High 5 program rates at $458, with sessions running June 29-July 17 and July 20-August 7. The board also voted 6-0 to transfer the Recreation and Athletic Field Fund revolving account (currently over $24,000) to the Town Manager's office, fulfilling a 13.5 percent reduction in the recreation department's FY27 salary line.

Two gift accounts were renamed: Easter Egg Hunt to the Michael Curtin Scholarship Fund and Scholarship to the Financial Assistance Fund, both by unanimous vote.
