School Committee approves revised calendar, SSEC board seat, and gifts.

Cohasset School Committee voted unanimously to set June 25, 2026, as the half-day last day of school to account for snow closures, and approved Superintendent Dr. Sarah Shannon as the district's South Shore Educational Collaborative Board representative. The Committee accepted $8,715 in gifts: $7,700 from the Cohasset Education Foundation for the second year of Music Therapy at Joseph Osgood Preschool and $1,015 from the Parent School Organization for middle school events.
Dr. Shannon announced the Osgood roof project closed significantly under budget, strengthening the School Capital Stabilization Fund and enabling advancement of the Middle-High School feasibility study through the MSBA core project process.
