School Committee approves solar energy array proposal, appoints new assistant superintendent.

Cohasset School Committee unanimously appoints Dr. Elizabeth Wilcox as assistant superintendent. Chair Jennifer Lesky, Vice Chair Craig MacLellan, and members Lance C.

Dial, Corey D. Evans, and interim member Jacob Squatrito voted unanimously on five major items, including approval of Dr. Wilcox following an extensive thirty-eight-applicant search process and formal authorization for the Alternative Energy Committee to pursue solar energy arrays at Deer Hill and Joseph Osgood Schools.

The Committee also unanimously authorized the transition of before- and after-school programming from the Recreation Department to district administration and approved updated Program of Studies for both the high school and middle school, reflecting curricular refinement and staffing adjustments.
