COHASSET — Select Board backs $2 million school feasibility study with one dissent. Chair David Farrag and four colleagues voted 4-1 to recommend the Cohasset Middle High School appropriation, addressing critical 1957-era infrastructure and advancing a Massachusetts School Building Authority process; Clerk William Ashton dissented. The Board also voted unanimously to recommend a $232,051 capital appropriation for town-wide telephone system upgrades and declined to recommend a citizens petition surveillance technology oversight bylaw, with only Ashton voting in favor.
