Cohasset Select Board approves town manager search with $225,000 salary. The board voted to open the Annual Town Meeting Warrant for spring, with citizens' petitions due February 18. Superintendent Sarah Shannon presented a FY27 budget proposal of $27,021,099, an 8.82 percent increase over FY26.
Board members questioned whether the district should explore regionalizing with Hull; School Committee Member Lance Dial opposed regionalization. The board also approved the 2026 All Facilities Permit Rules and voted to increase fees effective March 1, with Interim Town Manager Michelle Leary noting re-evaluation in FY 28. The board selected seven search committee members: Suzanne Averill, Bill Burnett, Jean Healey Dippold, Tim Davis, Paul L.
Grady, Jr., Leland Jenkins, and Sarah Shannon.
