Sewer Commission approves abatement, budget, and membrane project

COHASSET — Sewer Commission unanimously approves FY27 budget of $2.8M and four major items. Chair William McGowan, Vice Chair Paul Kierce, and Member James McNeil voted to advance the budget, which includes a transfer from the Capital Stabilization Fund to Retained Earnings, as well as a $104,579.08 billing abatement for 1 Pleasant Street. The commission also conditionally approved site plans for 26 and 28 Lamberts Lane pending easement filings and a street opening permit, and unanimously approved Veolia's membrane replacement proposal with a 30-week delivery timeline and Insight data-collection program.
