Sewer Commission approves three connections and discusses plant upgrades.
Sewer Commission · Meeting of March 18, 2026
Cohasset Sewer Commission advances three residential connections and focuses on wastewater plant engineering. The board unanimously approved a two-bedroom connection at 469 Jerusalem Road and contingent reconnection at 159 Atlantic Avenue with reduced fees, plus Phase 2 commencement at 46 Border Street subject to April 1 punch list and April 30 close-out plans. Vice Chair Paul Kierce moved all three votes.
The Commission asked engineering firm Woodard and Curran to return with real pricing on up to $1 million in plant improvements after initial proposals; staff will coordinate town bidding for engineering services. Representative John Tetreault offered to post grinder pump replacement and rebuilt-unit pricing on the town website following multiple recent failures in the area.
