COHASSET — Planning Board cleared a Water Commission utility project from special permit review. The Board voted 5-0 to accept Christopher Pratt's withdrawal of a Land Alteration Special Permit application at 339 King Street, where the Cohasset Water Treatment Plant will remove approximately 1,207 cubic yards of ledge for construction of three dewatering lagoons. Peer reviewers determined the utility project was exempt from permit requirements.
The Board also accepted a separate withdrawal without prejudice for 159 Atlantic Avenue and agreed to clarify bylaw language on earth removal for accessory structures.
