COHASSET — Water Commission approves revised FY 2027 budget reflecting increased debt service. Chair Christopher E. Pratt circulated the amended spending plan on April 1, and the board voted unanimously to approve it after Clerk Leonora C.

Jenkins confirmed debt figures from the town Treasurer. Consultants from Woodard and Curran reported that extending treatment plant runtime has reduced THM levels in nonregulatory sampling, with regulatory results due by month end. Commissioners also heard that the dormant Ellms Meadow wellfield, idled since November, remains unable to restart despite no detected physical damage; well company assistance may be needed.
