COHASSET — Weir River Estuary Committee approves prior minutes, hears tri-town water and trail updates. The tri-town body, serving Cohasset, Hingham, and Hull, unanimously approved prior minutes and voted to send a letter of support for Cohasset's proposed sidewalk around Straits Pond from the Greek Church to Black Rock Beach. The Commonwealth has deemed Weir River Estuary waters clean enough for shellfish harvesting, a milestone the committee called major.
Hull's Eastman Road Trail to the Island is moving forward once weather permits, pending Department of Public Works construction assistance, while three newly recruited volunteers will restart monthly Woods Walks for public education after the new year.
