Zoning Board accepts Jerusalem Road withdrawal, endorses amended rules and zoning bylaw changes

Cohasset Zoning Board unanimously accepts Jerusalem Road permit withdrawal and endorses bylaw amendments. The board voted 6-0 to withdraw the Use Special Permit application for 469 Jerusalem Road, File 25.12.08b, after building officials resolved underlying permit and bedroom-count issues through a new building permit and certificate of occupancy. In three additional unanimous votes, the board approved amended ZBA rules and regulations and endorsed proposed changes to Zoning Bylaw Articles 5.3, 2, and 3.
The amendments broaden relief provisions by replacing "building" with "structure" to address pools, walls, generators, and future technologies previously outside regulatory scope.
