Committee approves Forest Avenue, North Main Street paving

Cohasset Sidewalk Committee approves paving for Forest Avenue and North Main Street. Chair Justin Pimpare and the committee unanimously approved the March 25 minutes and voted to limit paving to Forest Avenue and North Main Street within the $1.25 million budget, with work expected mid-to-late summer. Brian Joyce of the Department of Public Works reported that Morse Engineering is surveying Pleasant and Beechwood streets for sidewalk improvements and designing work on Jerusalem Road and King Street.

Members discussed pursuing state and MBTA funding for a proposed North Main boardwalk and assigned committee members to evaluate and prioritize roads by condition.
