Cohasset village historic district study advances toward spring 2027 Town Meeting consideration. The Village Historic District Study Committee unanimously approved a preliminary study report on September 23, with Chair Woody Chittick, Secretary Mary Beiche, and five other members endorsing the document. The committee removed a paint-color exclusion, established that "subject to public view" addresses visibility from public streets, ways, parks, and bodies of water, and approved submission to the Massachusetts Historical Commission beginning in October.
