School Committee backs solar project for Deerhill and Osgood schools

COHASSET — School Committee backs proposed solar array for Cohasset schools. The Alternative Energy Subcommittee reported that the School Committee responded favorably to the project proposal and endorsed engagement of consultant Palmer Capital to address roof sequencing, traffic circulation, National Grid utility interconnection constraints, and other due diligence matters. The consultant recommendation is slated for the School Committee's summer agenda.

The solar subcommittee plans to dissolve at the next full committee meeting.
