Cohasset Select Board approves eight warrant articles. The three members present; Ellen Maher, Paul Grady, and David Farrag; unanimously endorsed warrant articles covering Massachusetts liability law, property tax exemptions, water rates, cemetery fees revolving fund, and amendments to the South Shore Regional Vocational Technical High School Agreement and town bylaw. In a joint presentation with the Capital Budget and Advisory Committees, Public Safety Facilities Committee Chair Glenn Pratt detailed a $26.765 million expansion of the Public Safety complex on Elm Street, with a proposed debt exclusion of $20.765 million.
The project would cost a median property owner roughly $520 per year in additional taxes and is contingent on completion of King Street construction.
