Cohasset panel approves Holly Hill Farm land deal
Conservation Commission · Meeting of July 23, 2026
Cohasset conservation board approves $1 million Holly Hill Farm land deal, resolves Tad Lane farm dispute. Newly seated members Amy McKinnon and Lori Ferreira brought the commission to full strength as Acting Chair Steven Magnell led a marathon Zoom session that closed eight hearings 5-0 each, including a driveway redesign at 26 Little Harbor Road where McKinnon pushed for permeable pavers, saying "the runoff will go right through." Attorney Adam Brodsky won a finding of no wetlands violation for a Tad Lane flower farm but must file an after-the-fact stormwater permit within 90 days for unauthorized fill exceeding 5,000 square feet. Abutter George McGoldrick's objection to tree clearing and channel proximity pushed a 66 Black Horse Lane dock proposal to an August 6 continuance.
The commission also advanced the $1 million, CPC-funded Holly Hill Farm conservation restriction with the Wildlands Trust as co-grantee, targeting a September 1 closing.
