Board designates Nicole Balaschi as new Public Health Agent

Cohasset Board of Public Health designates Nicole Balaschi as new Health Agent. The board unanimously voted Tuesday evening to name Balaschi, who directed Cohasset Safe Harbor for eight-plus years, to the position. In other business, the board approved three septic system designs, including two variances at 71 Ledgewood Drive to reduce setbacks and a local upgrade at 16 Stanton Road reducing inlet-outlet tee separation from twelve inches to one inch.
The board also unanimously endorsed the town's Open Space and Recreation Plan for 2026 through 2036.
