Library trustees address $22,346 pavilion shortfall amid expansion

COHASSET — Library trustees approve operations and address pavilion funding shortfall with Friends support. Chair Catherine Harvey announced the Friends of the Library committed up to $15,000 for pavilion furniture using a recent bequest and stated her intent to pursue an additional $100,000 at the Cohasset Library Trust meeting. Director Bronwyn Nelson reported completion of the Evergreen/Aspen catalog transition and a May 28, 2026 website launch.

A grant-funded social worker shared with Hingham and Scituate will begin monthly drop-in hours at the library on the first Tuesday of each month. Trustees approved April minutes and current bills on unanimous votes.
