Planning Board approves Black Horse Lane property swap

Planning Board · Meeting of July 7, 2026

Cohasset Planning Board unanimously approves land swap for three Black Horse Lane properties. The Board voted 4-0 to endorse an Approval Not Required subdivision plan allowing neighbors at 66, 70, and 74 Black Horse Lane to adjust their property lines to resolve zoning setback constraints. Presented by Morse Engineering, the arrangement permits the owner of 66 Black Horse Lane to install a swimming pool while maintaining required setbacks; an accompanying adjustment between 70 and 74 preserves the 125-foot lot width.

Chair Clark Brewer, Vice Chair Kevin Heine, Deirdre Hobson, and Birgit Schmidt-Wesche voted in favor.
