Zoning board continues two Black Horse Lane dock applications.

Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of June 1, 2026

COHASSET — Zoning board continues dock-permit hearings to July 6. The board heard applications from applicants Michael McGuinness and Michael Crowell for Special Permits to install docks at 70-74 and 66 Black Horse Lane respectively, both presented by engineer Gregory Morse of Morse Engineering, and continued both hearings to July 6 without rendering decisions. The first application proposes a shared dock with separate floats for each parcel; the second, a timber pier positioned above salt marsh.

The board also unanimously approved a draft amendment to the 40B application form to add building-area calculations and require identification of structures within 50 feet.
